We prioritize a personal approach and care about each community member. Bendy classes are no more than 10 people, so that our instructors can tend to each of you.

Bendy Basic

Bendy Basic is a 60 minute full-body stretching workout class. We'll begin with a joint and muscle warm-up and move into a series of strength and flexibility exercises for the whole body.

STRETCH FIT

Stretch Fit is a more active 60 minute full-body stretching class with a functional warm-up and focus on dynamic stretches. We end with more static stretches that are held for longer periods of time for a nice balance.

Bendy SPLITS

Bendy Splits is a 60-min full body stretching workout class with targeted exercises for legs and hips mobility and strength as we work towards getting closer to front and middle splits!

Healthy Back is a 60 minute full-body stretching workout class, where we focus on opening our chest, strengthening our back and improving our posture. Perfect for those, who sit at a desk all day!

Meet the instructors

    ELENA

    Elena has been in the movement space since she was 5 years old. Starting out as a ballroom dancer, now she practices and teaches frame up and pole dancing along with stretching. Elena believes that the best way to know your true self is through body practices. For her, stretching and dance is about filling yourself with energy and love, healing through movement, surrounding yourself with a like-minded community.

    What to expect in Elena’s class? Unique stretch sequence rooted in Elena’s dance background. Be ready for a challenge!

    VICKY

    Vicky was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduating from business school, she began working in an office with long working hours and felt the need to find a movement practice that would help her live a more balanced life. She started practicing yoga regularly and obtained her yoga teacher certification shortly after. Vicky especially loves working with beginners and showing them their potential.

    What to expect in Vicky’s class? Creative and powerful stretch flow rooted in Vicky’s yoga background.

    ALONA

    Alona’s fitness journey began at 3 years old in ballet. She obtained her Masters of Choreography in Ukraine and went on to teach ballet at the the Royal Ballet Academy in China. Since then, Alona has also acquired Yoga and Barre teaching certifications. She loves combining elements from these disciplines when it comes to stretching and is always creative in her instruction.

    What to expect in Alona’s class? A barre warm-up and a deep and dynamic stretching routine rooted in Alona’s dance and yoga background.

FAQs + Policies

  • Bendy is a Greater Vancouver, BC pop-up studio, meaning that class locations may change month to month, so that we can serve more communities looking to stretch with Bendy!   • Bendy class is a 60 minute full body stretching workout class. Expect a warm up block and a mix of dynamic and static stretching exercises focused on developing muscle elasticity and strength (back, chest, legs) as well as breathing and balance. Trust us, you’ll feel all of your muscles the next day!

  • People of all genders are welcome to join a class! If you’re an athlete, a runner, a cycler, a regular gym-goer and are looking to incorporate stretching into your active routine - we got you. If your body is tight, because of a desk job or if you’re just looking for a new type of movement - we got you too!

  • During static stretches, your instructors will offer hands-on queuing to help you achieve proper form and reach the best results available to you. Hands-on instruction is gentle and helps you go deeper into the stretch by relieving the muscle tension you might be experiencing when trying to hold the stretch. If you are uncomfortable being touched, you can let your instructor know.

  • Mild discomfort is expected during stretching exercises, but please don’t push yourself, if you feel any sharp pain during any of the exercises. Let your instructor know. Your instructor will always offer modifications based on your level of flexibility and comfort.

  • Bendy will provide you with mats and the necessary equipment to assist with stretching. You can always bring your own mat. And always bring water. :)

  • Fitted athletic clothing (yoga pants, shorts, tight top) is best for a stretching workout, but you can wear whatever you’re comfortable to move in! Bring something warm to put on after class to keep your muscles warm.

  • To prevent class disruption we do not allow late arrivals. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class start time to get settled in.

  • Bendy pop-up classes are $35-40/drop-in class.

  • We do offer class packs. Learn more on our pricing page!

  • You have to be at least 18 years old to be able to take a class.

  • You can take photos/videos during class as long as they are of yourself and this is not disrupting to others. If you’re posting on Instagram, tag us @bendy.class :)

  • You can cancel a Bendy class up to 24 hours in advance and request a one-time class change to a future date. After 24 hours before class, you will lose your class credit. If you book a class and don’t show up, you will lose your class credit.

  • All Bendy services and classes are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-exchangeable. All services must be prepaid.
